FOTW - August 8th

This week I'm showcasing something a little different. It isn't a game in the fact that there are any goals or achievements, but in my opinion it is just as fun, and more involved than a game.

One of my favorite works of art was created using this flame painter, check it out! [link]

Please comment if you take some time to play with this new medium, I spent $10 to buy the actual program and can overlay actual images to paint over. It's also an offline desktop app I can take anywhere.

Now, to find an app like this for my smart phone...

Sry this is a late reply but my tips:

- Start off small: code simple buttons
- From there see whether you make a small [fake] website. You'd learn how to navigate between different menus
- Looking up tutorials on the net on the type of game you want to make. The game genre itself is important as you would be able to see the type of components you'd need to program.
